Absolutely magical !
The winter scenery was breathtaking and the peaceful setting made it the perfect escape. The cottage was beautiful and spotting deer on the lake made it even more special.
We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

A charming and quiet property with a very serene lakeside view. My partner and I had an incredibly lovely time, with particular enjoyment of the peaceful mornings by the snow-covered lake and star night sky.The space felt cozy, clean, and thoughtfully arranged, making it easy to fully unwind and disconnect.
We especially appreciated the calm atmosphere -- it truly felt like a private retreat. Whether enjoying coffee with the view or winding down in the evening, every moment felt restful and intentional. We would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway and would happily return ourselves. 10/10 recomend for a small group or couple.

Great place to escape for a private getaway. Absolutely stunning views and sits high up to overlook a beautiful open scenery. We adored the decor and extra details in the cottage.The Lay out was functional and very inviting! highly recommend this beautiful place.

As someone who has been to a few airbnb cabin/treehouses/domes. From Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia; I would say this is a must see experience for travellers seeking thrill, luxury, and comfort. So Glad i booked it and would definitely consider coming back to enjoy in all seasons.

Shari & David's AirBnB was absolutely perfect for our group! The cottage was cute, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was a highlight. We loved relaxing in it after a day of exploring.
The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials, making cooking and dining a breeze. And the location was ideal - situated on top of a beautiful lake.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Shari & David's AirBnB to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. 5/5 stars!

Wow! What an absolute gem this cottage is! We booked a last minute weekend getaway and we couldn't have been happier.
The cottage is cozy and beautifully decorated. It is right on the lake with everything you could ever need and more! We relaxed in the hot tub, used the BBQ for dinner and sat out under the stars. The lake plunge was the perfect way to wake up on Sunday morning before our drive back to the city. This cottage is incredible and we will definitely be back!

Shari and David’s place was perfect for our short getaway, we took our dogs on the lake on a canoe, saw the northern lights from the patio, grilled, relaxed and had an amazing time. Highly recommend and would love to visit again.

The Muskoka Nest is an absolute gem - a cozy, well-appointed cottage tucked away in the trees on a beautiful, quiet lake. The unit was clean, looked like the photos (the deck area is even more impressive in person!), and truly felt like "home" to us (4 adults, 3 kids, and a dog) for the weekend. We had everything we needed and more. While the road in is a bit tricky with some sharp turns, it is more than doable, and the cottage is conveniently located a 15-30 minute drive from nearby towns, restaurants, hikes, etc.
The hosts are also truly lovely. We had issues with a different AirBnB rental and in scrambling to find a replacement cottage, stumbled upon The Nest, and the hosts were so gracious to allow us to book same-day and even check in early - we so appreciated it !! Communication was friendly and proactive throughout.
Five stars, would recommend (and hope to be back some day). :)

We had a fantastic stay at the Cabana! The place was immaculately clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and cozy stay — it truly felt like a home away from home.
The hosts were amazing — incredibly responsive and welcoming, with outstanding communication from the start.
One of the highlights was definitely the lake. My dad caught 10 pike over our 3-day stay using the rowboat, which made his trip! We also enjoyed time out on the kayak and canoe, taking in the peaceful surroundings, enjoyed hiking as well.
Having our meals on the patio overlooking the lake was an amazing experience, we loved relaxing with that view. We also spent a few hours exploring the charming town of Huntsville, just a 25-minute drive away.
If you're going with extended family, the neighboring cabin, “The Nest”, looks like an awesome option to rent together.
We were extremely comfortable throughout our stay and enjoyed every minute. Hope to be back ! Thank you Shari and David !

The Nest in Muskoka is the perfect romantic escape. Beautifully designed with cozy touches and stunning lake views, it feels private and serene. Mornings on the deck and evenings by the firepit made our stay unforgettable. A true gem we can’t wait to return to!
